This tells what Michael thinks about his character, Jack, on Zoe.
Jack Cooper (Michael Rosenbaum) Born on Long Island and raised in Indiana, 26-year-old Rosenbaum has some solid credits. He added to the body count in Urban Legend, and before that he popped up in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. But he's really hoping to make his mark with confident wise-guy Jack.
How Michael Sees Jack: "Imagine the coolest guy in a trendy restaurant, and that's who Jack thinks he is. He's egotistical, self-absorbed and cold-blooded at times. Yet there's a loving and a charming quality to Jack that I try to convey. He doesn't mean any harm."
Is Michael Like Jack? "I think Michael's more his character than any of us," says costar Azura Skye. "But where his character is kind of a jerk, he's not at all. He's a great person. He's his character without Jack's attitude."
Thanks, Anyway: "I love to improvise," says Rosenbaum. "I'm always thinking what can I do now. But the director always says, 'How about, just don't do what you just did.' "
Who Is Jack's Friends Counterpart? "Chandler," says Rosenbaum, "because he's got a smart-ass answer for everything. And he always thinks he's right--even when everyone and his mother knows he's wrong. That's Jack."
